Annina Roescheisen Recent Works
Online 26 Jul - 29 Sep 2024 We are pleased to share seven multimedia works by German artist Annina Roescheisen. In these recent works the artist continues to investigate the boundaries between polarities such as dream and reality. Her palette of vivid colors continues to thrive in this work, where new shapes and structures align on the canvas and new visual thought forms are built. Roescheisen's work invites the viewer to immerse themselves in the frequencies of color.

Jean-François Rauzier Giverny
15 Sep - 23 Nov 2022 We are now releasing this special series online and will exhibit them in October first at the San Francisco Fall Show. Our gallery exhibition in New York, with Jean-François in attendance, will take place from October 26 - November 18.
Photographer Jean-François Rauzier was in residence at Giverny, France this summer, working in the house and gardens of Impressionist master Claude Monet. Inspired by the famous gardens and the interior of Monet’s home, Rauzier has created new works responding to the legacy of the great artist. He took many thousands of photographs of the grounds, flowers, lake, studio and even bedrooms at Giverny, and then meticulously created fantastical photographic Hyperphotos. We are now releasing these special works and will feature them in October at the San Francisco fair and in the presence of the artist at the gallery show. Read more

Visible - Invisible: Four Female Abstract Artists
12 Sep - 3 Oct 2022 Ray Waterhouse was delighted to present a selection of works by four artists working in abstraction: Danielle Frankenthal, Cheryl Goldsleger, Iris Kufert-Rivo, and Annina Roeschiesen.
All four artists strive to make the intangible fabric of our lives visible, whether that be the effects of color and light, cultural conditioning and upheaval, vibrational energies generated by human connection, or links between perception, thought, and vision. These frequencies are then translated to new visual languages, often in complex and striking ways. Each artist works in layers, building up pigments, marks, and structures to form their visions, creating interplays between the varied surfaces. Each work is distinct, but shares a similar focus on translation or transmutation, of rendering thought and discourse onto a material surface. Each piece is not only an aesthetic display, but a method of thinking through complicated concepts and rendering them comprehensible to all.
Modern Fine Art will continue to represent all four artists. Read more -
